The Resource Conservation District provides natural resource and agriculture education opportunities for landowners, land managers, students, and the general public through workshops, educational presentations, tours, mailings, media outreach, special events, classroom visits, internships and volunteer opportunities. We offer specific opportunities for young people including speech and land-judging competitions, along with sponsoring at least one selected student each year to attend the week-long California Range and Natural Resources Camp (also known as “Range Camp”) at Elkus Ranch in Half-Moon Bay.
