Every year the Resource Conservation
District provides technical assistance to hillside farmers
wanting to protect their farm roads from winter rains. The
district provides recommendations on the type of grass that
is appropriate for your farm roads and the most useful methods
of installation.
October 15 marks the beginning of winter preparedness months,
so if you have further questions regarding this program please
contact the RCD.
Cost share assistance may be available for those who qualify.
